Dirty Opportunity!

What do a lot of top road racers do to keep themselves fit and sharp in the off season and between races? They pull out their off-road bikes and take to the motocross circuit or enduro course because this is one of the best ways of honing bike control skills and retaining confidence in handling. This is not exclusive to those who race, as it’s long been acknowledged that road riders can really benefit from learning how to handle a bike on all kinds of dirt tracks and surfaces.

That’s one reason why we’re offering this month’s winner the chance to spend a day with the Mick Extance Off Road Experience (in association with Honda) www.mickextanceoffroad.com. Mick is a very experienced rallyist and stalwart of several Dakar races, who runs the programme in conjunction with Steph Jeavons.

Our winner will be able to choose a day in beautiful North Wales (near Bala) learning how to negotiate trails and cross country terrain. Or, if you’d prefer your knobblies to run over a purpose built Moto Cross course, you can head for their Moto Parc near Doncaster and enjoy the thrills, and expert tuition for the day.

You will ride Honda CRF150/250/450 bikes, which include lowered versions of the 250 and 450, and all riding gear will be provided.

All you have to do to go into the draw to win is answer the following question:

In Transylvania, what do they call a Zombie?

All entries to arrive before Monday 6th September 2010.
First name out of the hat will win! Good luck.

Please don’t forget to include your name and contact details(you’d be surprised how many people don’t!)
and as always, it’s nice to know what part of the country you live in – just out of interest.
